Dr. Shazia Aman is the AACI Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for Middle East and Asia. She is a physician and a foreign qualified health care quality professional and AACI Senior Surveyor for International Healthcare Accreditation . She is Diplomate American board of Healthcare Quality Management and Utilization Review Physician, Certified professional in Healthcare Quality (US), Specialist Patient Safety and Risk Management (US), Certified Hospital Surveyor (US), Physician Advisor (US) and Team STEPPS Master Trainer (US). She is also a Fellow of ISQua (Ireland).
Dr. Aman has a strong and diverse clinical and healthcare quality background, having worked in Middle East and Asia region, with a practical insight of the Australian healthcare accreditation system. She is US and Europe trained in the sectors of accreditation, survey, client management, education and training consultancy services. Her expertise is primarily focused on preparation and conduction of regional health authority inspections, ISO surveys and International accreditation. Being a Physician Advisor and Team STEPPS Master Trainer, she has been passionately involved with staff training and education for compliance with patient safety and risk management standards. She has experience of successfully leading projects for quality and performance improvement and has been an advisory member of committees for ensuring quality and safety in healthcare.
