AACI attended the Maternity, Midwifery and Babies Conference in Manchester

AACI attended the Maternity, Midwifery and Babies Conference in Manchester on the 27th September 2016, a conference that is known to attract high level, professional content and speakers with a large exhibition offering the latest products, launches and career opportunities.

There were approximately 1500 delegates from all over the country, including representatives from NHS Trusts, the Care Quality Commission and NHS England.

The AACI presentation stand and our products and services were in great demand as we talked too many of the delegates, who were extremely interested to know more about the company and the Maternity Clinical Excellence Standards that are now available.

The delegates who spoke to us said;

‘These Standards are a great opportunity to illustrate to the CQC our commitment to continual improvement and quality management’

‘It would be useful to have experienced external scrutiny which is supportive and encouraging’

‘It is exciting that the RCOG [Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist] guidelines are the foundation of the AACI Standard’

‘It would be good to achieve a platinum medal to prove our quality as a unit to our women’

“We hope to now meet all those NHS Trusts interested, and explain more about the Standards, which are supportive and non punitive, and our survey process which has continual improvement at its core.  AACI will also be appearing at other patient safety conferences in the future, so come and see us for more information on our Clinical Excellence Standards.” says John D Bell, AACI President.
