AACI is closely monitoring the latest developments. Reccommendations for travel restrictions and precautionary measures have been implemented.
Following the Ebola outbreak in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, AACI has stopped permitting business travel to those countries.
“We are taking the situation very seriously. Although, according to WHO, the risk of becoming infected with the Ebola virus during a visit is very low, we have to carefully evaluate a situation“ says Group CEO Dr.Dorjan Marusic.
Travellers are advised to consult reliable information resources when planning trips, such as:
– International SOS (with a website dedicated to the current Ebola epidemic)
– WHO (Ebola Virus Disease; EVD)
– CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
