At the direction of the Board of Directors of AACI, it is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Carlos Hiran Goes de Souza, MD as Vice President of AACI and Chief Executive Officer with the responsibility to develop AACI clinical excellence in Portugal and Brazil .
He will serve in this position at the pleasure of the Board for three years heretofore. Carlos is a well known healthcare expert, physician, and a Member of the International Academy of Quality and Safety in Health Care. Carlos brings a wealth of experience in his new role of providing strategic leadership in planning, implementing, and supervising quality-based accreditation systems.
We are honored to welcome Carlos aboard, and we wish him great success in this new effort.
