The American Accreditation Commission International (AACI) successfully conducted its first accreditation survey at Iashvili Children’s Hospital in Tbilisi, Georgia. Iashvili Children’s Hospital has achieved the distinction of being the first hospital not only in Georgia but in the entire region to adhere to international accreditation standards. This international accreditation represents a commitment to high-quality standards and affordability. It reaffirms the hospital’s unwavering dedication to providing patients with the highest level of care and service around the clock.

During the certificate presentation, the hospital’s director, Tamuna Vakhtangadze, emphasized that this achievement is the result of the hard work and dedication of all staff, including medical professionals, nurses, and administrative personnel. She highlighted that being the first comes with great responsibility, but she and her colleagues embraced this challenge, leading to the accomplishment we celebrate today.

AACI Group CEO Kreso Paliska stated, “Working with the Iashvili Children’s Hospital team over these months, we realized that nothing is impossible. The energy they invested in this project was incredible. It was our pleasure to recognize Iashvili Children’s Hospital with accreditation, as the hospital excels in children’s care. This accreditation certificate is not just a piece of paper on the wall; it is a testament to their commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
