The Accreditation Committee

The AACI Accreditation Committee holds collective responsibility for ensuring that the organization’s performance aligns with its mission, vision, and values, while maintaining effective oversight of accreditation operations. The Committee is accountable to the healthcare community and all relevant stakeholders for the integrity, transparency, and quality of AACI’s accreditation processes.

The Committee meets regularly, with one of its primary responsibilities being to render final accreditation decisions. These decisions—whether to grant or deny accreditation—are based on comprehensive input from the technical review process, including survey findings and expert recommendations.

Members of the Accreditation Committee are elected to serve three-year terms. During this period, they actively participate in meetings and provide leadership in matters related to policy development, strategic direction, and financial governance.
